IDEAL SELF

Blog57A

When I was a child and lived in a very small town, I imagined myself traveling many places that would set the groundwork for fostering my adult self as an author and a healer—thus engaging with the ideal part of myself in the best way I could.

HOORAY FOR CHELSEA MICHIGAN HIGH SCHOOL!

Blog44A

I was recently so impressed by the important precedent set by Michigan's Chelsea High School. This year, they have chosen to replace the annual homecoming queen title with an excellence award instead. This change resulted from the high school’s 2016 #WhyYouMatter campaign. It was an important time, and I returned to New Mexico energized with a number of ideas of how to make my life more internal and prayerful.

IMAGINATION AND PARALLEL REALITIES

Blog22A

As mentioned in an earlier blog, one doesn’t have to enroll in a class or travel to a far-off land to learn about shamanism. It is not so much a matter of technique but viewing and living life from the place of shared sisterhood and brotherhood.
